Cancer opened the door to Susan’s career as a coach. At the age of 24, doctors gave her six months to live. Unwilling to accept this, Susan did what she now coaches her clients to do – surface the conflict, get vulnerable, and lean into the stuff that’s uncomfortable. This approach not only saved her life; it led her to co-found Thrive! so she could teach leaders and teams the same principles. Susan’s disarmingly genuine, no B.S. style models what only becomes possible when the truth is “in the room.” As an Equus coach, she also uses horses in working with both individuals and teams.
