Marissa Keenan grew up in Montana and attended University of Washington in Seattle before the pull of Flathead Lake and the Rocky Mountains lured her home. In 2010, Marissa started Sweet Peaks Ice Cream in Whitefish, Montana in order to create delicious ice cream and support community and connection over food. She comes from a family of restauranteurs and small business inspirations. Her passions are food, community, small business development and connecting with other entrepreneurs and creatives. Since 2010, Sweet Peaks Ice Cream has grown from one shop in Whitefish to stores in Kalispell, Bigfork, Bozeman, Missoula, Coeur d’Alene (ID) and Spokane (WA). The company runs a central commercial kitchen in Whitefish and operates a fleet of mobile ice cream trailers for special events. Marissa holds a variety of non-profit board positions focusing on community enrichment and student mentorship. 

Marissa lives in Whitefish, MT with her 3 kids and her business partner/ serial entrepreneur husband: Sam.
